It is completely normal to hear a &apos;hissing&apos; sound coming from your Pinter during the Brewing Stage.&#xA0;The Carbonation Dial is designed to regulate and keep your Pinter at the correct pressure so as the pressure builds during the fermentation it will periodically vent excess CO2.Having said that, not hearing any noise is also nothing to worry about either. The noise might not be very audible at all so the Pinter will still be fermenting away as it should be.&#xA0;Please note: The Carbonation Dial setting should always be on 5 and not changed at any point in the brew process.&#xA0;
