We’re really sorry to hear that your brew didn’t turn out how you hoped. While we’re unable to offer refunds for brewed beer, we’re more than happy to help figure out what might have gone wrong — and offer advice for your next one.

To help us look into it, please tell us:

  • What Fresh Press did you brew?
  • How long did you brew and condition the beer for?
  • Roughly what temperature did you brew and condition the beer at?
  • Can you describe the taste for us, in as much detail as possible? Was it sour, sweet, bitter, etc?
  • Have you noticed this on any previous brews, if so what styles were they?
  • Did the brew taste like this from the first pint, or did it develop over time?


If everything was done correctly and it still wasn’t to your taste, it might simply come down to personal preference,  and that’s okay! In that case, we’d love to recommend other styles that may be more to your liking.
